As Sail n’ Sea Photography steps into 2026, I’m grateful to share an important milestone:

I am now a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP).

While certification is a professional achievement, what matters most is what it means for the families who trust me to photograph their children and tell their stories along the coast of Eastern North Carolina.

A Certified Professional Photographer is someone who has demonstrated:

• Consistency across varied environments and lighting conditions

Certification is earned through rigorous evaluation—not purchased or granted automatically. It ensures that when conditions change, the photographer behind the camera knows exactly how to respond.

And at the beach, conditions are always changing.
